We Microchip in the comfort of your own home
TO CHIP OR NOT TO CHIP - IS THAT REALLY A QUESTION?
The dog or cat should feel no more discomfort from a microchip implant than from a conventional injection. Microchipping uses Radio Frequency (RFID) technology and cannot be tampered with, fade or be removed. The chip is deposited mid-line into the fatty area between the shoulder blades. The needle houses the microchip and is therefore larger than a conventional needle, however, a clever design allows it to incise the skin easily with very little discomfort. Some animals cry - most do not.
The Dog Identification Group (DIG) is proposing a scheme for every dog to be identified by a microchip. It's not law yet, but all parties seem to be keen on the idea.
We offer Microchipping as a standalone service or to new and existing clients who book other services.

Our Microchips are made in Germany by A.E.G. Sterilized and blister packed. They use the latest technology (FDX-B) and fully comply with the Pet Passport Scheme. The AEG microchip has only 6 components (compared with 17 - 19 components in most other brands) and does not contain lead solder.
Our Microchip is one of the smallest on the market and independent tests show that the smaller the microchip the less likely it is to migrate. Additionally, they can be scanned by all I.S.O. scanners, regardless of manufacturer.
The needles we use have a large double bevel, which makes them as sharp as a scalpel. Their thin wall design helps to minimise discomfort to the animal by decreasing resistance to insertion, even on tough skinned animals.
Each microchip comes with life-long registration. Each microchipping system comes with 6 bar code labels. We give you three spare bar code labels for future use on insurance certificates or travel documents.
